![]() On the game’s official website, the Diablo Immortal team said in a development update,įollowing feedback provided by test participants of the Closed Alpha, our team has been tuning core and endgame features. The company had planned to release the game sometime this year, but updates to PvP and endgame content, as well as a new option for controller support, mean Diablo Immortal won’t meet its previously communicated release window. If I'd know about it then I would have gone another, much cheaper, controller.Blizzard Entertainment said it now plans to release Diablo Immortal, the company’s mobile action RPG, sometime in the first half of 2022. Take that into account when choosing which controller to buy. So it's just us new unsuspecting suckers who are hit with this massive annual cost. ![]() It's especially rough since people who bought it previously get the software without the subscription fee. It is true that you can play games using it without the software, but considering they spruke the software so hard and it is advertised as a key feature, it's pretty poor form to then hit us for a AU$75 unadvertised annual subscription fee. In less than 3 years the app subscription would cost more than the controller! But they have recently introduced an enormous AU$75 a year subscription fee. It is one of the key reasons I chose this much more expensive controller. However, they advertise their software app as a major selling point, and it is quite good. ![]() It doesn't do keymapping for unsupported controllers, but that's standard with controllers. The controller is quite nice to use and good quality.
